Arizona 2014 Here We Come

Yeah 12:00 pm has finally arrived.  I can enter my time sheets and shut down my computer for a whole week.  Whohoo!!  We put our final items in the car and headed to Grace and Ralph's to load them up.  As usual the car was full, but we managed to get it all in and started our route to Buffalo.  We stopped for a Starbuck's in Burlington and then headed to the border where we picked up a few bottles to bring home.  We went straight to the hotel to book in.  It was pretty neat there as they had a pumpkin competition where you could vote on the best pumpkin.  Unfortunately we did not hear who the winner was.  We stopped at a Home Depot and bought some lights there and then headed to Gordon Biersch for some supper.  After supper we walked around the Walden Galleria.  They had a special evening for children there where a bunch of volunteers provided treats for the children so they could shellout in the safety of the mall with there parents.  It made it busy in the mall so we didn't stick around.  We had a 4:00 o'clock wake up call in the morning so we went home, had a nightcap and went to bed.

Boy 4:00 am comes quickly!!  We got up and brought all our luggage downstairs.  The guys collected the clubs from the car and we poured a coffee for them while we waited for the shuttle to arrive.  With all our stuff the shuttle driver made arrangements for another guy to drive 4 other people and they took us on our own.  Again we were able to be dropped off and get rid of our luggage right where we were dropped off by the shuttle.  It was awesome.  Our driver told us normally he is not allowed to do this but he did it for us anyways and took his chances on getting yelled at.  It was early so he had no issues.  We had no problems getting through security and all went well with the flight.  We even arrived earlier than expected in Phoenix so all went well.  We struggled a little getting to the shuttle bus which took us to the car rental but all went well. We got a white Suburban.  We managed to get all our suitcases and clubs in the vehicle and went straight to the condo.  We unpacked and than did a bit of grocery shopping at Whole Foods.  We decided to see if we could get tickets for a Hockey game as the Arizona Coyotes were playing the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.  We managed to get some tickets for the game so we are excited about that.  After that we headed to Grayhawk golf course where we had some supper.  We have been thoroughly enjoying reminiscing about our last visit and seeing so many things already we hadn't seen before.  We are all pretty tired as neither of us had much sleep the night before.  Time for a nightcap and then off to bed.  Great to be here again.
