We were up early this morning. Finished packing a few last minute items,
took Oakley out, fed him and enjoyed breakfast at the Sunset Grill. As we were eating I realized I didn’t pack my
capris or long pants for golf in case it was cold. We went back home, quickly loaded some pants
in my suitcase and we were off. When we
were close to Niagara the weather got really snowy. The roads were not that clear but we took our
time and got to the border safely. We
couldn’t believe our eyes when we got there.
There was no lineup to get across.
This was at 10:00 am. We stopped
for a coffee and then headed to the airport.
We were nice and early so no worries there. We enjoyed some lunch at the Anchor Bar and
Grill. Our plane was delayed for about ½
hour and had to be de-iced. We had a
smooth flight and arrived safely in Orlando.
We rented a Chey Cruz and made a arrangements to meet up with the guys
at Bahama Breeze. While driving Lawrence
and I had were so caught up with how much we had to pay for the Toll Booth that
we were not paying attention to the lane we were in and we were in the Sunpass
lane. There was a vehicle stopped in
front of us and guess who he happened to be talking to. Ralph was trying to get someone to change a
dollar as they had no coin on them and this Toll Booth wasn’t manned by anyone. We recognized him right away and were joking
that he was stopping traffic still not realizing we were in the wrong. It is a good thing he was there because there
is quite a hefty fine for going through the Sun Pass with no pass. We had some change so they could get through
and met at the restaurant. Everyone was
in good spirits.
When we got to the house, we had signs at the door showing
our rooms. Lawrence and I were each
given separate rooms. We had a good
chuckle there. We were struggling with
the Internet last night but finally figured it out. The pool was supposed to be heated and that
was not working so we will have to have them come and check that out as well. Everyone was in good spirits. We are going to have a wonderful week.
