This morning we were up at 6:00 am and packed up our bags and loaded the truck. We enjoyed some breakfast and then headed off to Grandover Golf Course. It was sweater weather again. We each received a small towel and some tees and a ball marker packed in a plastic bag in the golf carts. Nice memory of the course. The course was very scenic with huge brick houses surrounding the course. They had really cool bridges on the course as well. We had a 9:00 am tee off but we were able to go at 8:36. There was a foursome in front of us but they never had us waiting and we had no one behind us. Was fun playing with no pressure. We were done around 12:30 and loaded up the car again. We stopped for a beer and wine and were on the road by around 2:00.
I forgot to mention I am a winner 😀. After Grace won the protect the ball competition we decided to do another competition. The person who got on the par 3 in one shot got a point. Ralph and I were tied. The tie breaker was the person who had the most amount of chip ins with no putts. I was lucky enough to have one Yippee.
We had a 7.5 hour drive ahead of us so we grabbed some gas and got a coffee and headed to Grove City which was our next destination. We stopped in Bridgeport and ate supper at Applebee’s. We arrived at the hotel around 10:40.
